Equally, the opportunities for innovation, new ways of working and inspirational leadership in the sector have never been greater. We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, innovative and ambitious academic leader to drive academic analysis, innovation and improvement across Lincoln College, as part of the Lincoln College Group. As the name would suggest, the Ofsted Outstanding Lincoln College is the strong core of the Lincoln College Group that formed in 2013, with settings in Lincoln, Newark, Gainsborough, and China. Lincoln College is also the lead sponsor of the Lincoln UTC. The Lincoln College Group additionally encompasses two secondary school academies (the Newark Academy and the Gainsborough Academy) and Deans Sport and Leisure, a commercial sports centre based in Lincoln City Centre which is open to the public 362 days of the year and has 1200 members. The Lincoln College Group also has an international business with three Colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
You will have the leadership of a single campus, focusing on its curriculum delivery and business development. You will also be accountable for a portfolio of curriculum delivered across the college with an associated range of wider college responsibilities. You will hold crucial leadership of performance targets and budgets and successfully devolve these to Heads of Learning and Skills and Learning and Skills Leads. You will lead exceptional achievements by utilising team and/or individual objectives, targets and measures as part of the college performance review process. You will be critical to all elements of college strategic planning, and central to its creation, following consultation with staff and with the agreement of the Senior Executive Team.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent, a Management Qualification or equivalent and possess an appropriate degree or equivalent. You will have recent, relevant, high quality experience of leading curriculum delivery and development and have experience of performance management, appraisal and the monitoring of standards.
