Wiltshire College is the main provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is on an exciting journey to excellence. Based across the county in 4 main campuses and 4 smaller centres we offer an extensive range of course, at all levels.

Reporting to the Principal and a member of the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for the leadership of the HR function across all four campuses and ensuring the College’s new vision, culture and values are embedded into the HR agenda.

The successful candidate will have worked within a senior level HR role previously, educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a relevant professional qualification. You must be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be committed to achieving goals in a fast paced and changing environment.

Wiltshire College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Wiltshire serving students from the age of 14 and above. The college has over 3,300 full time students and 6,000 part time students studying every year, along with 800 students studying a university level course. The college has four campuses around Wiltshire, located in Chippenham, Lackham, Trowbridge and Sailsbury. There are also four additional learning centres – Castle Combe, Corsham, Devizes and Warminster. 

Wiltshire College opened in 2000 and merged with Sailsbury College in 2008. The collge offers vocational courses for students between the ages of 14-16, along with apprenticeships, Further Education, Higher Education and University level courses. Accommodation is provided for students who live far away from the campus. In 2015, the college was identified as good by Ofsted.

The college works to invest in it's teaching staff to ensure that students are nurtured to achieve their full potential. It is important to the college that students are well cared for and ensures that a wide range of support is in place, including counselling and childcare.
