Dixons Allerton Academy moved to our new £27 million building in September 2013. Our recent OFSTED inspection rated our leadership and management as good and the behaviour and safety of our students as good.

The right candidate:
Applications are welcomed for the position of Director of Learning for Performance and PE at Dixons Allerton Academy for an August 2015 start. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, qualified and enthusiastic drama, dance, music or PE teacher to support the Senior Leadership Team in the leadership and management of the performance and PE faculty.

The successful candidate will;

  • be an outstanding teacher with a passion for drama, dance, music and PE
  • inspire and motivate students and staff to develop to their full potential
  • be committed to developing the Academy as part of the wider community.

The Academy is an all-through Academy from 3 -18 years of age, with places for 52 nursery children, 420 primary children, 1,200 11-16 pupils plus 240 post 16 students.
