Pay Scale: Leadership plus a generous benefits package including Harris Allowance and Private Medical Cover

We need a special individual with a flair for leadership and innovation, as well as a clear commitment to supporting and developing the vision for this Academy. You will be creative, have excellent subject knowledge, a passion for your subject as well as being an outstanding classroom practitioner and capable of providing inspirational leadership. You will be committed to the highest achievement for all and be a resourceful and enthusiastic educationalist.

This is a demanding and exciting role which is about ensuring the ambitious vision for Harris Academy Tottenham becoming a reality including:

• Working as part of a leading team focused on developing a dynamic and inspirational vision of education, and implementation of this vision leading to the creation of an outstanding academy which is recognised nationally and internationally for excellence;
• Leading the Subject through a variety of innovative approaches including curriculum design, teaching strategies, use of technology and intervention programmes that will create an environment where every classroom offers outstanding provision to students.
• To lead and be responsible a team of tutors and students ensuring outstanding pastoral provision and establish an ethos of success.

In selecting a Director of Learning to join our team we will be looking for an outstanding person able to be a key player in developing an exceptional Academy. Someone with the ability to help build the commitment of all stake-holders to a culture of constant excellence and with a flair for creative and cutting edge leadership that will put learning first and ultimately ensure all our students benefit from an outstanding education.
