King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, West Midlands is committed to continuously improving its already outstanding provision. The College has approaching 1900 students studying primarily academic courses at AS and A level and its overriding priority is their welfare and continuing success.
Rated 'outstanding' at inspection in 2008, the College has a turnover of £8.5 million and is one of the best performing sixth form colleges in the country.
This is a key post in the senior management team of the College. The postholder will lead quality and equality improvement, including staff development, sharing good practice and the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion awareness, and will also be the College nominee for Ofsted inspections. He or she will be a member of the senior management team and, where required, will represent the College on external groups.
