Duty Manager

The Duty Manager is the pivotal first point of contact for Rossie providing a professional interface to all internal and external stakeholders.

As part of the Operational Management Team, the Duty Manager has responsibility for the operational management of the care services, working collaboratively with all internal services (Care, Education and Specialist Interventions Service/Health) as well as external agencies.

In conjunction with Service Development Managers, Residential/Secure Care, and other operational managers, the Duty Manager ensures the safety and security of the centre and makes appropriate operational decisions regarding all aspects of care management, ensuring staff and physical resources are managed effectively and efficiently deployed

The Duty Manager provides a strong management presence, overseeing staff practice elements, and modelling Rossie’s values and behaviours, ensuring that the quality of care and the environments are upheld to the highest standards.

The Duty Manager will be committed to supporting young people and colleagues to achieve their potential. They will be innovative and passionate in fulfilling the role in line with National best practice guidance including The Promise and The Secure Care Pathway and Standards.
