Brunei is an exciting and vibrant place to be. This is a wonderful opportunity to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in a Ministry of Defence setting based near the town of Seria, in the Belait District in Brunei, right on the door step of Asia. The setting is based outside Tucker Lines Garrison and located within the Service Families Community. The nursery caters for children and families of Gurkha soldiers, serving personnel and civilian personnel supporting the Ministry of Defence in Brunei.

You must have a UK recognised full and relevant Level 3 qualification.

For a person specification and job description please email sce.recruitment@sceschools.org

In order to fulfil the security and vetting requirements, it is normally expected that applicants will have been UK residents for three out of five years. Time spent outside of the UK over and above this level extends the time taken to complete the checks (usually over the normal term notice period) and in some cases, may result in non completion as a result of insufficient evidence. If you require further clarification please contact peopleservices@dbs.mod.uk or call 0800 345 7772 for advice.

The attractive package for this post includes a tax-free Cost of Living Allowance COLA. This is variable and related to family size. A tax free transfer grant may also be payable.

Please be advised that the Department is conducting a review of all pay related allowances which could impact on those allowances that the post currently being advertised attracts.
