Are you an Early Years Teacher with a real passion for Teaching and Learning?

We are looking to appoint an Early Years Lead to model excellent teaching and learning practice across our well-established Early Years Department. As Lead Practitioner you will maintain a clear focus on maintaining outstanding provision and practitioner facilitation with our young learners – ensuring that High Hazels is a centre of best practice and excellence.

You will take a lead role on behalf of our Academy in a cross schools EYFS network, working closely colleagues and other leading practitioners to develop, implement and evaluate the impact of policies and practice that lead to school improvement.

High Hazels Academy is a supportive and forward thinking school, where the children are positive, happy and eager to learn. The school became part of United Learning on the 1st January 2015. We are an inner city school with approximately 710 pupils on roll currently from

Nursery to Year 6. 97% of our pupils have English as an additional language  and some are in the early stages of language acquisition. There is a high level of  deprivation in Darnall and 40 % of pupils are in receipt of free school meals.
