Harmeny School, in Balerno, is a leading provider of specialist education services for children with complex Social Emotional Behavioural Needs. As a Grant Aided Special School, we work with children from primary up to early secondary stage, both on a day and all year round residential basis.

We currently have an opportunity for a Class Teacher with recent and significant experience of the Early Years to join our outstanding education team to work with children with complex additional support needs. Along with a creative approach to learning and teaching, you will demonstrate a working experience of the Curriculum for Excellence and will have the resilience to work with children who have Social Emotional Behavioural Needs in a nurturing, sensitive, caring way.

The successful applicant will be placed appropriately on the current national scale.
