Job overview

Responsible to Senior Manager of Education. 35 hours per week.
Consideration may be given to a fixed term secondment.

Kibble is one of Scotland's oldest charities working with young people. It provides a wide range of specialist services and operates as a social enterprise.

Job Purpose:

Based mainly in our Safe Centre (secure), you will have strategic responsibility for the Curriculum for Excellence programme in terms of the direction, operation and evaluation of the curriculum. You will take a lead role in meeting the learning needs of all across the four contexts of learning. As required, there will also be a part-teaching requirement within this post.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of educational issues, legislation and policy and you will also be able to demonstrate a flexible approach, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A teaching qualification which enables GTC registration is essential
  • Significant and relevant management experience
  • Having or are working towards a qualification at Masters level or equivalent

Due to the nature of our services, you will be required to work out with the traditional school year. This is reflected in the salary structure shown.
