Education Services Director

The role...

...comprises 40% work in schools and 60% strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the team. Based partly in the north-west and partly home-based, there will be occasional wider travel including to our London office. You will have control over your own diary and can focus on developing the types of improvement work in schools that you most enjoy and are effective. Leading, supporting and inspiring our team of consultants is an important part of this role, as is the supervision and support for the admin staff in the office. Other tasks include developing and negotiating new work and contracts, quality assurance, financial monitoring and liaising with the staff in London. Our company is growing rapidly due to our reputation for success, and we require a strong and inspirational leader to replace our current Education Services Director who retires in July.

We are looking for...

... someone with a proven track record of effective school improvement, preferably with inspection experience. You may be a headteacher, local authority adviser, consultant, or manager of another company. You will need to be highly motivated to ensure the continued growth of the company and be a supportive, efficient and effective team leader. Good communication skills and high quality standards of writing are essential. Intuitive to the ever-changing needs of schools, you will have the vision and creative abilities to develop new approaches that will meet market needs. To do all this, you will need to be self motivated, well-organised and extremely committed!
