Hertfordshire values the role of the Educational Psychologist (EP) and positively supports the profession.
Due to internal promotions within the Hertfordshire Educational Psychology Service we have opportunities for Educational Psychologists to join the team in various locations across Hertfordshire to meet the demand for high quality EP service delivery.
We are a large county service arranged in five local teams with excellent office accommodation and dedicated administrative support, access to a range of IT support including laptop and mobile phone, and we are piloting the use of tablet technology as part of our professional work both for assessments and other day-to-day activities.
The EP Service is an integral part of Integrated Services for Learning (ISL) local teams, which include Advisory Teachers, Attendance Officers and SEN Service. We are a solution orientated service applying psychology to enable improved life outcomes for Hertfordshire residents. We promote early or universal access to Educational Psychology through telephone support and bookable community consultations. The service also embeds a consultative approach throughout the work undertaken.
Across our cohesive, professional and supportive service, we provide comprehensive and well-structured CPD opportunities to further develop and promote up-to-date professional educational psychology practice. This includes ongoing research and evidence based activity, training, development and coaching events, and other experiential opportunities.
Therefore if you are a qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration looking to further develop your professional career and you are committed to delivering the highest standards of professional activity, or if you are looking for your first post as a qualified Educational Psychologist for September 2015, we would be extremely pleased to hear from you.
