The successful candidate will provide a high standard of administrative support to the EHCP Co-ordinator. We require our EHCP Administrator to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring the process around EHCPs runs smoothly and efficiently. There are very busy periods where you will need to work well under pressure, be pro-active and prioritise tasks and deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.

You will work from 8.30am to 4.15pm, term time only. Support Staff have a 39-week, term time only contract, with hours worked over 38 weeks to allow for a two-week autumn half term (this includes INSET training on some Thursdays after school - dates known in advance).

We want our workforce to reflect our diverse student community and we welcome all applications regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, religious belief, sexual orientation or disability.

We expect our administrators to have:

·        A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·        A warm and welcoming, yet professional manner towards visitors, colleagues and pupils at all times

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        A commitment to contributing to the positive ethos and strategic direction of the school

·        An enthusiastic and motivated approach

In return, we can offer you:

·        A well-being day every year

·        A stable and committed staff team determined to give our students the best possible opportunities;

·        Appropriate training and continuing professional development; We have recently been awarded the Gold standard by ‘Investors in People.’

·        A supportive SLT; positive professional relationships

·        Access to our Employee Assistance Programme and other benefits in a school with a strong commitment to staff well-being
