This is an exciting time to join Bournville College.  You will be part of a newly formed management team, shaping the direction of English and Maths provision for the future.  During our latest Ofsted inspection in May 2014, we received a Grade 2 (Good).  Our students are at the heart of everything we do and we pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching and learning. 

The purpose of this role is to fully incorporate English & Maths across the curriculum to ensure excellent levels of progression.  The successful candidate will demonstrate their enthusiasm for English & Maths and work collaboratively with college managers to inspire and empower staff to use innovative models of delivery, leading to outstanding student success.  They will hold a level 5 teaching qualification, have a thorough understanding and experience of quality assurance frameworks and processes, proven ability to set and meet challenging targets, experience of developing and delivering effective continuing professional development.
