We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher looking for the opportunity to develop their management skills alongside the Head of Department.
English is an exceptionally popular subject at Headington, especially in our sixth form where we offer exciting and exhilarating courses in both A' Level and the International Baccalaureate. The department has eleven specialist teachers and the success of the department is reflected not just by the popularity of the subject, but also by the results our students achieve in public examinations.
You must be committed to excellence in teaching and learning using innovative methods to engage and inspire students and be a strong team player with a keen desire to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Headington is a leading day and boarding school for girls aged 3-18, set in a green 23-acre site located a mile from Oxford city centre.
