English Teacher

With effect from September we are seeking to appoint a confident, creative and enthusiastic English teacher. English is taught at all Key Stages including A Level. We offer both English Language and English Literature at A/S and A2.

The successful candidate will have the capacity to raise attainment through motivating students and will contribute to the culture of high expectations and innovation within the department. You must have excellent communication skills, tremendous drive and great enthusiasm for teaching and learning.

The English department is visionary; we are a high achieving subject area and enjoy excellent examination results across all Key Stages.

We can offer you the opportunity to join a supportive, well motivated department with a strong ethos for collaboration and shared practice. We are also an innovative Department with an excellent NQT programme. We welcome applications from experienced or newly qualified teachers.

We are a forward thinking school that has developed, and we continue to develop, a concept based curriculum. We would expect any member of staff to take an active role in delivering the creative curriculum.
