Gloucestershire Hospital Education Service is a registered medical PRU educating young people who are medically unable to attend school and supporting school-aged mothers during their maternity leave.
We require an experienced, capable, full-time, specialist teacher to work peripatetically across the county. The position involves teaching mainly 1:1 to KS3 and KS4 pupils in their homes. Additional SEND, subject and key stage experience is an advantage. Experience of, or an interest in, online delivery of lessons as part of our provision, as well as flexibility and commitment to inclusion, is essential for this exciting and unique role. Candidates will need to hold a full driving license and have use of a car.

This position is full time and salary is variable according to teacher's position on pay scale, main pay range or upper pay range. Minimum £22,023 + SEN*; Maximum £37,496 + SEN*. *An SEN allowance of between £2022.00 and £3994.00 is payable to GHES teachers.
All positions are subject to enhanced DBS check.
