Responsibilities:
- Provide a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the literacy learning process.
- Identifies, selects and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying learning styles and needs.
- Assist in developing, enhancing and the up-keep of English, English Literature and ESL learning materials
- Marking of answer scripts for both exercises and examinations.
- Assist in preparing exam papers.
- Communicate effectively with all parties such as students, parents and peers on a regular basis.
- Ensures that students growth and achievements is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/ or program classification.
- Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines, honouring schedules.
- Stimulate and nurture interest in Literacy throughout the school
- Coordinate and lead specific learning activities, competitions and theme weeks
- Coordinate the preparation and entry of students for English and English Literature IGCSE examinations
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant teaching experience teaching in schools in English Language, English Literature and ESL.
- Experience in delivering the Cambridge Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum or equivalent.

The Rafflesia International Schools have two campuses which are located respectively in Puchong and Kajang in the state of Selangor, Malaysia.
