Stephenson (MK) Trust provides education for students aged between 11 and 18 years who are either attending Stephenson Academy local SEN provision for students with social emotional and mental health needs, or Bridge Academy for students disengaged from mainstream education throughout Milton Keynes. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all.

BRIDGE ACADEMY

We require an experienced teacher to deliver English to a mixed ability KS3 and KS4 groups. This position attracts a TLR2b (£5,500) for retention and yet to be discussed responsibilities. We are looking for a dedicated teacher who wishes to advance in our organisation.

Stephenson Academy is a successful 80 place special school, which opened in 2012. It has a main site, which caters for 11-16 year olds. We have an associated independent sixth form provision for 16-19 year olds.

As a specialist academy we cater for students who have Education and Health Care Plans with an identified primary need of Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH), many with associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students have additional special educational needs such as speech, language and communication difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and mental health difficulties.
