About Mzuzu International Academy

Mzuzu International Academy is a non-profit co-educational day and boarding school situated on the outskirts of Mzuzu, the third largest city in Malawi. The school is set within a spacious and developing campus overlooking the beautiful Kaningina hills and offers both primary and secondary education to a largely Malawian student body. The curriculum for Early Years, Key Stages 1, 2 and 3 follows the English National Curriculum with some adaptations to the local context, whilst Key Stage 4 students work towards their IGCSE examinations. The student body is relatively small with a total of 358 students (191 in Primary and 167 in Secondary). Boarding is available only for secondary students and there is currently a total of 95 boarding students. Mzuzu International Academy is the leading international school in Northern Malawi but aims to become one of the top international schools in the country.
