Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a passionate English teacher to teach full time in a client Secondary school in Newark.
Our client is a mixed 11-18 CofE academy at the heart of Newark’s community. The school sets high expectations and aspirational targets for all of their students ensuring they make outstanding progress through our broad curriculum and Christian values.
Your role will be to teach in line with the National Curriculum working across Key Stages 3 and 4. You must demonstrate a strong ability to use your own initiative, build good relationships with students and establish positive behaviour for learning.
The successful candidate will have to have the following:
- A recognised teaching qualification, and qualified teacher status
- Minimum of 6 months UK experience as teaching English to KS3 and 4 pupils
- Excellent reading, writing and numeracy skills
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking and consistent with exceptional time-keeping skills
- The ability to build strong professional relationships with both staff and pupils

The role will be starting in September after the school holidays, and is open ended, but will be on going until at least December.
