We are extremely proud of the work we do at Brompton Hall. We try very hard to enable boys who have had great difficulty in their previous schools become successful learners, and to enjoy the process. All the boys that attend the school are individuals with their own issues. However, we want all boys to be able to socialise and enjoy each other's company, to progress as individuals, educationally and personally, and to maximise their prospects in later life. The school curriculum has been developed to enable students to follow a tailored curriculum that meets their individual needs through a range of personalised learning opportunities. Lessons are planned by teaching staff to ensure that all students achieve through a variety of activities, regardless of their level of ability as we feel it is important for all students to be successful within the learning environment.

We offer a high level of support and coaching, high quality CPD, a hard working team of staff and encouraging leadership. The school provides a well-resourced environment with each class having a dedicated teaching assistant. A small class size of between 8 to 10 boys ensures that extra support continues the school's commitment to raising levels of achievement for all students.

Brompton Hall is a North Yorkshire weekly boarding/day school in the village of Brompton 8 miles from Scarborough, for 60 KS2 to KS4 boys with BESD and other associated special needs and learning difficulties. The school has a very positive ethos and has received Good/Outstanding reports from Ofsted for both education and care commenting how we all work together to provide an excellent environment for children to develop and flourish.

If you would like to contribute to the further progress of our school we would love to hear from you.

Visits to the school are welcomed in order to meet the Deputy Headteacher and find out more about the school and the nature of the work involved. Details can also be found on the schools website. Information about the school and application documents are available to download from the attachment section below.
