We are looking for an outstanding English teacher to provide both excellent teaching and also potentially to lead on aspects of developing the English department, both academically and pastorally, on its journey to outstanding. The successful candidate could be given responsibilities within a successful team, based around their own areas of expertise. With a brand new £15 million building and outstanding facilities, Magna Academy offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, talented individual looking to develop their career.

We have already enjoyed considerable success in Year 1 as Magna Academy, achieving rapid improvements:

• 57% 5+A*-C including English and Maths (Top 5% of schools nationally for progress)
• A*-C English and Maths: 66% (Top 2% of schools nationally for progress)
• A*-C Maths: 70%
• A*-C English: 76%
