Welcome to the Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School. We are a Voluntary Aided Church school with a rich history and a reputation for excellence.

The school was opened in 1969 by the Queen and is believed to be the first purpose built Church of England comprehensive school in the country. Today it is an over-subscribed and vibrant multi-faith, multi-cultural school serving three deaneries of Cuckfield, East Grinstead and Horsham, and the community of Crawley, providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. This is a happy school where faith is valued and which is underpinned by core Christian values of mutual respect and compassion based on the Gospel of Christ.

We are proud of our ethos, our all-round high standards and our strong emphasis on personal development. We believe children deserve the best education possible and values that prepare them for the future. We are committed to providing both.

We want everyone in our community to achieve all they can whilst making a difference for those around them.

We have approximately 1250 students in years 7 to 13.

We offer staff a comprehensive induction programme and an appraisal programme to match CPD to their needs. We also share good practice and we engage in the TEEP programme to enhance our teaching and learning in the classroom.  We support, empower and challenge staff to make a real difference in raising standards and have many examples of staff that have fast-tracked their career.

The school is an easy commute via public transport from Brighton, and from other parts of East or West Sussex and from Surrey.

Thank you for considering our school. If our vacancies and values match your skill set we would be delighted to hear from you. Visits to our school are welcomed and encouraged so you can see for yourself our sense of purpose and community.

Please check our school website for all additional information about the school including latest inspection reports and results.
