The Campus

OneSchool Global York Campus is situated in Bishopthorne, on the southern outskirts of the historic city of York. We are an Independent School with a vibrant atmosphere, good results and a clear vision for the future. As an all through school, we have 136 students in total- 51 Primary students and 85 Secondary students. 

The Position

Commencing in June / July 2024, our welcoming York team are seeking an English Teacher to join them on a full time, fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.  

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the English National Curriculum and Assessment Framework. You must have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or a similar English Language qualification and possess recent experience teaching English to students in KS3-KS5. You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
