The role

If you are an experienced administrator, this position offers the opportunity to play a key role providing administrative support to a friendly and dynamic Estates team at one of London’s top day schools.

The Estates team at Wimbledon High School is responsible for the security and maintenance of the school’s building and facilities, ensuring the highest standards are always met.

As Administrator for the team, one of your main responsibilities will be managing the Estates helpdesk. This will involve managing workflow and creating worksheets for the team and liaising with contractors as required.

General duties will include ordering supplies for the team, raising purchase orders, taking minutes at meetings, and coordinating resources for school events.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office as well as the ability to manage and maintain records and manage the online helpdesk system.

You will also be able to work as part of a team, manage your time effectively and use your own initiative. Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills are pivotal to this role.

You will have at least a basic understanding of Health and Safety and a willingness to undertake Health and Safety training. You will have at least a basic knowledge of fire safety, security, and emergency procedures. You will have a willingness to undertake relevant training, which will support your progress and development in the role and within the Estates team.
