This is a unique post, created in 2007, to bring the two schools of Windmill Primary and Low Road Primary together under one Governing Body, one Leadership Team and one Executive Headteacher.

The schools are situated in the south of the City of Leeds in the adjoining localities of Hunslet and Belle Isle.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Has excellent communication skills, resilience, enthusiasm and vision.
  • Is an outstanding teacher, who is a credible classroom role model for teaching and support staff.
  • Is passionate about music and able to drive forward the In Harmony programme in both schools.
  • Can continue and promote the Federation’s inclusive and caring atmosphere and commit to the existing SILC Autism Partnership on Windmill school site.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of Early Years to ensure an outstanding provision for 0 – 5 year olds.
  • Has excellent leadership qualities and ensures our staff are valued, respected and challenged to ensure success.
