The Oakbridge Federation is formed of two primary schools in Grove Park and Downham, Lewisham close to the borders of Bromley. The Federation provides an education for all, which acknowledges and is enriched by the diversity of ethnicity, culture and faith of its students. The schools’ nurturing commitment to encouraging our children to persevere in their aspirations, show respect for others, be responsible learners and to always try their best is paramount to life at Oakbridge.

The Federation has been in operation since 2011 becoming a hard federation in 2014 and is made up of Rangefield Primary with 462 students and Forster Park with 493 students.

Forster Park was judged as requiring improvement in 2013 and has since made significant and measurable steps towards good. Rangefield was judged to be an outstanding school in 2013 and continues to go from strength to strength.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational Executive Headteacher to build on the Federation’s current success; driving forward to outstanding, led by a visionary leader committed to collaborative working. We would like you to work with us to create a centre of excellence in teaching and learning.

The objectives of this post will be:

• Work with the Governing Body to develop a long term vision for the Federation
• Improve educational standards across both sites
• Build on each other’s success
• Explore further cooperation with other schools
• Build relationships with the wider community
