Executive Headteacher

The Federation of Mill Hill and Woodcroft Primary Schools are looking to appoint an Executive Headteacher.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an existing Headteacher or equivalent who wants to take on a strategic role as Executive Headteacher of a Federation of two one form entry primary schools. The schools are three miles apart and serve a relatively deprived area, but both schools offer a family atmosphere in a happy friendly environment. Both schools have exceptionally large and lovely grounds with playing fields and woodland.

The position has arisen due to the current successful Executive Headteacher moving on to undertake more varied leadership roles in education.

 We are looking for someone who can:

• Maximise the opportunities of the two schools to professionally learn together and from each other to benefit all children
• Secure consistently good achievement for pupils as both schools are currently rated ‘good’ by Ofsted, both having been in special measures at different times
• Lead the school with recent mainstream school experience
• Ensure that each school develops parental and community engagement
• Address the separate school improvement priorities specific to each school.
