Lea Forest Primary Academy, based in Birmingham, opened December 2012 and is sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). Our academy is a happy one, with dedicated and enthusiastic staff. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Apprentice to support the existing Building Services Manager with general site management duties. The post holder will support with the provision of security, janitorial and cleaning services, repairs and maintenance of the academy site and monitoring work of the external contractors on site, and must have the following attributes:
- Five GCSE’s including English and Maths at grade C or equivalent
- Basic ICT Skills, sufficient to be able to use the Academy Facility Management tools
- A proven, excellent attendance record
- Able to work in a polite and calm manner, particularly when under pressure
- Accurate, thorough and organized approach to work.
