Estyn

“There are good features of the school’s work. These include: steady progress in raising standards over the last three years with significant improvement in performance in both key stage 3 and key stage 4 in 2010; very few pupils leaving school with no qualifications; the good progress pupils make in the majority of lessons in developing their knowledge and understanding; a broad, balanced and flexible curriculum, which in most aspects meets the needs of pupils and the local community well; and the excellent support for vulnerable pupils.”
