We are looking for a dynamic individual to take on the critical role of Facilities Manager, leading our Site Team, at Rednock School.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, dedicated people with strong facilities experience, including Health and Safety; and excellent organisation, administration and communication skills, both written and verbal, to maintain and improve all facilities across the School. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Rednock School’s site and premises including maintenance, improvement, security, lettings, health and safety and other site services.

You will have a strong customer service ethos and excellent line management skills. Experience of budgetary control, contract negotiation and project management are essential. Qualifications in facilities management and Health & Safety are desirable, together with a specialist knowledge of building services. You should have sound problem solving skills and the ability to work with changing priorities. A willingness to be on call out-of-hours is essential to fulfil this role successfully.

Rednock School was graded as a ‘good’ school by Ofsted in our last inspection in December 2014. We offer excellent CPD for all staff as well as bespoke support for new staff. We are a rural comprehensive, 11-18 school, enjoying spectacular views over the local hills, with nearby links to the M5.

This a full-time, permanent post; required start as soon as possible.
