We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Faculty Leader who can innovate, develop and challenge students and staff in this curriculum area, comprising Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

We are looking for a teacher experienced in the curricular area of the Faculty who is:

  • an aspiring leader with ambitions for wider senior leadership responsibility,
  • a highly motivated and positive professional with the ability to continuously improve and manage change,
  • able to motivate and inspire students and staff to raise attainment across all ability levels,
  • able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning and achieve excellent results,
  • capable of uniting their Faculty and taking it forward
  • willing to undertake a whole school remit.

Craigholme School in the Southside of Glasgow, is the top independent girls' school in the West of Scotland. The school provides an all-through education for girls aged 5-18 years. With 120 years of experience, Craigholme enables girls to achieve excellent academic results as well as encouraging them to be their best in every area of their lives.

About Craigholme School for Girls

Craigholme School for Girls is an all-through, independent girls' school based in Glasgow, catering for students aged 3-18. The school is non-denominational. Its facilities include a dance studio, a climbing wall, a multi-purpose sports hall and a games field.

All pupils are encouraged to take part in choral singing throughout their time at the school.
