About the role:

We are seeking to recruit an excellent Fashion Technician to be responsible for the technical services to the Fashion Department at our Centre for Business, Arts and Technology.

You will prepare a range of materials for teaching purposes, papers, blocks, samples, fabrics etc. and assist the curriculum staff with practical workshops as required - facilitating students with practical aspects of their work. You will be required to maintain satisfactory standards of safety and security in all workshop/studio areas, observing the Health & Safety Codes of Practice.

About you:

With qualification in Fashion, technical skill and surface design pattern cutting, you will have practical knowledge of the maintenance of relevant electrical equipment used in Fashion studies. You will have good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and the ability to organise and schedule work in order to meet deadlines.
