Job overview

We are looking to recruit a Food Manufacturing Manager. This is a full time position with a competitive salary plus pension for the right candidate, starting at £30,000 or more dependant on experience.

The Food Manufacturing Manager will play a pivotal role in relation to the process engineering specialism at Wigan UTC. As such, you will have strong communication skills and an ability to work with and inspire young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and on-going development of the pilot plant at the UTC. In addition, the Food Manufacturing Manager will have significant experience and knowledge within the food manufacturing and processing industry, and experience in delivering training.

If you are an experienced food manufacturer or processor with a thorough knowledge of proven and advanced technology, and with the ability to apply that knowledge practically to ensure competitive and innovative advantage that would bring an overall creative approach to the role, then please contact us.
