Job overview
The Governors of Lliswerry Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistant on a fixed term one year contract to commence on 1st September 2015.
The successful candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the class teacher and will need to be flexible, committed to helping each child achieve their potential and sensitive to children's needs.
They will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as genuine commitment to the overall care and development of the children.
The appointment is offered for 34.5 hours a week and for 39 working weeks per year. Annual leave must be taken during school holiday periods.
Candidates will be observed teaching a group of Foundation Phase pupils as part of the interview process w/c 6th July
