Montfort was founded in 1964 and is one of the top 100 schools in Spain. It is a co-educational, non-denominational school offering the British curriculum to children from Madrid and surrounding towns and villages.

We now have a vacancy for a nursery teacher in our British School. The nursery teacher takes responsibility for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and providing feedback to parents and the school about pupils’ developmental progress. The post is offered as a full-time permanent position.
Montfort is keen to recruit a coordinator for the foundation stage area of school and the coordinator will be offered a generous salary increment that reflects the responsibilities of the position.

The school occupies a 247 acre site including extensive sporting facilities and a botanical gardens that is home to over 1200 species of plants, trees and flowers.

Sports facilities include: a multi-function sports hall, basketball, handball, volleyball, tennis, a skating rink, a full-sized artificial turf football pitch, a five-a-side pitch, an Olympic sized swimming pool and a fully equipped gymnasium and fitness centre.

Located in the village of Loeches to the south-east of Madrid, a superb public transport and road network system provides easy access to the centre of Madrid and towns to the north, east and south of Madrid.

Montfort prides itself on the support it offers new teachers. New staff are offered accommodation in Montfort Residence Hall for the first two weeks of their employment. Montfort Residence Hall offers staff a free canteen and a free cleaning service. Staff wishing to stay in Montfort Residence Hall are welcome to do so and are offered a generous price for the use of this accommodation. Alternatively the school can support teachers in finding alternative accommodation. Teachers living elsewhere are welcome to use the school bus service for travel to and from school.

The post carries a cost of living allowance of 250€ per month in addition to the base salary paid to teachers in Spain. The supplement for a person with the experience to take the role of coordinator will be agreed separately and will be in addition to the basic salary and cost of living allowance.
