The Academy
GEMS Wellington Academy – Silicon Oasis opened in September 2011, offering the National Curriculum for England with IB Diploma and IB Career-related Certificate at Post 16 currently to over 3500 students from Foundation Stage to Year 13.
The Academy offers world class facilities set in a modern campus in one of Dubai’s most prestigious new developments. Our campus provides a bright, modern, well-resourced environment for our students to extend their learning. A special emphasis is placed on the integration of technology into the curriculum in keeping with the educational rationale for the Academy and the vision of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority. The Academy has stunning state-of-the-art facilities, including a new technology rich Learning Plaza. As part of our continued expansion of our Post-16 IB offer and in partnership with Pamoja Education, we are launching an online IB Diploma based at the Academy and managed by the IB E-Learning Coordinator. We are the first school globally to offer the entire Diploma online.

We are looking for Outstanding Foundation Stage Teachers to join our established team.
Applicants will:
- Be fully qualified teachers, ideally with experience of the National Curriculum for England
- Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
- Set high standards in academic excellence
- Be able to deliver outstanding learning and teaching
