St Paul’s School seeks both a graduate teacher of Mathematics to all levels, and a graduate teacher of Mathematics and Computing, with Mathematics taught to all levels and Computing to at least GCSE. The successful candidates should have strong academic backgrounds and be willing to contribute to the wider life of the School.  These positions would suit new graduates or experienced teachers.  One of these positions (it could be either) will be for one year in the first instance.

St Paul’s salary scale is substantially above the national scale and a subsidised accommodation scheme is available to eligible staff. The school is accredited to participate in the ISTIP NQT induction programme leading to qualified teacher status valid in both the independent and maintained sectors. St Paul’s School was founded in 1509 and currently occupies a large site in Barnes, south-west London. A selective independent school, it provides an education for boys aged 7-18 and has boarding facilities for a small number of its students.

Prospective entrants are usually expected to pass online and/or written examinations across a range of subjects, as well as undergoing an interview with a senior member of staff. In order to improve accessibility for students from poorer backgrounds, a wide range of bursaries and scholarships are available for boys who reach the required academic standard.
