HEAD OF ACADEMY for Woodnewton – a learning community

The Directors of Woodnewton Academy Trust seek to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and resilient Head of Academy at Woodnewton – a learning community.

They are looking for an innovative leader who can demonstrate a proven track record of significant impact within their current post. The post-holder will be accountable to the Executive Principal and will undertake the day-to-day management of the single academy.

Woodnewton – a learning community is a 2 – 11 (year old) primary academy with an integrated Childrens’ Centre located in Corby, Northamptonshire. It is one of the largest primary schools in the UK and has been consistently judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’. From September 2015, it will be a 5-form entry academy, located over 2 sites.
