Job overview
We require from September 2015 a conscientious, well-qualified and resilient Art and Design teacher to join our school at an exciting stage of its development. You will be enthusiastic, humble to the responsibilities we embrace; fearless in the teeth of the challenges we face, and understand that the differences we make are made in the classroom. You will find teaching fascinating and beautiful and have the ability to enthuse and inspire students to do so as well. If you like moaning about your work, students or the community, this is not the school for you.
As Head of Art and Design, you want to create an ambitious, innovative and collegiate department that ensures the subject is exciting, relevant and enjoyable. You will be an inspirational practitioner with great curriculum knowledge and pedagogical practice. You will value teamwork and be committed to personal improvement and development.
