We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified, motivated and ambitious leader with the highest personal and academic standards to lead ourBusiness Department. The successful candidate will be required to teach Business Studies at KS4, KS5, the BTEC level along with various vocational courses to include childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing middle leader or an exceptional classroom practitioner to shape and develop the future of Business and Vocational courses in our successful girls’ school.

Copthall is an 11-18 girls’ academy achieving ‘good with outstanding’ features in our last Ofsted inspection. The school is located on a very pleasant campus in Mill Hill in North London. The school, which has a comprehensive intake, enjoys very good standards with impressive levels of progress or ‘value-added’ being made by pupils. It is oversubscribed and is expanding in 2015.

Copthall School prides itself on educating 21st century women for successful careers in STEM, human, social and health sciences, performing arts and creative industries. We have approximately 1000 students on role, 120 of which are enrolled in our thriving Sixth Form which is in the top 12% of schools for A Level results.
