Head of Centre

The Rowan Centre is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward thinking Head of Centre who values the individuality of all of our pupils.

Perhaps you are a senior leader in a mainstream school who is looking to develop headship expertise in a smaller setting? Perhaps you have or are planning to do your NPQH?

Are you innovative, creative, hardworking, and have a passion for working with the most vulnerable children in our society to ensure they have the best possible start?

We are looking for an inspirational and exceptional leader who:-

• Will widen the opportunities to succeed and achieve for learners who experience challenge in mainstream provision.
• Is resourceful and keen to ensure the highest possible standards of student learning, progress and achievement.
• Is an exceptional practitioner who has the knowledge and experience to teach across the whole age and ability range
• Is an outstanding leader, able to ensure the highest possible standards of teaching and learning across the whole staff
• Is decisive in leadership style and can recognize, value and develop the strengths and skills of our staff
• Believes in developing the true potential in all children
• Is passionate about children’s futures and the development of the whole child
• Is committed to promoting the welfare and safety of our children
• Will build on our excellent relationships with parents, management committee, schools and the wider community
• Will have the vision to develop the Centre as an ‘outstanding’ specialist provision

The Rowan Centre can offer experience in:-

• Leading a setting
• Developing a whole school vision
• Managing whole school finance
• Working closely with Management committee to develop whole school priorities
