Required for Autumn Term 2015 or earlier to join an expanding Science Department:

Head of Chemistry    

Responsibilities include:

  • Progress and attainment in Biology across KS3-5.
  • Auditing and improving current schemes of work in Biology.
  • Development and improvement of IB Biology programme.
  • Teacher subject knowledge development in Biology, including leading on teachers’ IB Biology qualifications.
  • Robust planning for new GCSE specification for progression from Y7 to 11.
  • Co-ordinating Biology trips across Y7-8. 
  • Mock result analysis and content of subsequent interventions
