We require a full-time, well-qualified and creative teacher to lead the department from September 2015 and teach KS3, GCSE and AS/A2 art. AS/A2 photography may also be available.

The Department offers a vibrant programme of fine art, print making, ceramics, sculpture and photography and achieves 100% A-C pass rate at A Level and GCSE. You will be expected to demonstrate an innovative and effective teaching style and to have excellent subject knowledge of art and photography. A strong honours degree and a teaching qualification are required along with relevant work experience. Curriculum leadership experience would be an advantage. Skills in digital photography are desirable. A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular and pastoral life in this thriving independent School is essential.

About Claremont Fan Court Senior School

Claremont Fan Court School is a thriving, successful co-educational day school for pupils from 2 1/2-18 years. It is situated just outside Esher, Surrey, only 16 miles from London and is set in 96 acres of historic landscaped grounds of the Claremont Estate.

The School consists of the Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School for pupils aged 3-7 years, the Preparatory School for pupils 7-10 years, and the Senior School for pupils from 11-18 years, each with its own Head.
