Core Purpose

1. The core purpose of this role is to provide professional leadership in the Mathematics Department and as a Mathematics Teacher – Highly motivated Mathematics teachers with a minimum of 2 years’ Head of Department experience may apply.

2. Experience in IBMYP, IBDP, IGCSE, A-Level, American Common Core Standards, or any other outcomes based education system will be an asset.

It is likely that teachers with without the relevant leadership experience could be considered for a teaching roles or possible 2nd in Department.

Qualifying requirements:

• Past Head of Department experience of at least 3 years in a private international school with IB programmes is a pre-requisite. Only candidates meeting this criteria need to apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a recognized teaching certification. Applicants with a Master’s Degree or higher in Education Management and Leadership will be given preference. Good communication and technology skills are key requirements.
