The British Humanist Association (BHA) is the national charity working on behalf of non-religious people who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity. We are seeking a Head of Education to be responsible for promoting understanding of Humanism, especially in formal educational settings.

The BHA has a commitment to the ongoing production and dissemination of high-quality resources for schools across the UK and the development of our school volunteer programme. We are also currently focusing on rebranding our disparate education programmes as a coherent single offer, and exploring innovative new ways to promote a wider understanding of Humanism amongst the public in general.

We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual with an understanding of contemporary Humanism, as well as demonstrable understanding of the education sectors in the UK and experience of delivering education in schools, colleges, or other educational settings.
