St Martin's Ampleforth seeks to appoint an enthusiastic teacher to be Head of English. Knowledge about the new National Curriculum and excellent computer skills are essential. The post will appeal to someone with drive, enthusiasm and ambition, who is able to contribute positively to the School. The role will also involve a teaching responsibility.

As one of the countries' leading boarding schools, the successful candidate will be expected to play a full pastoral role in the boarding life. There is a strong ethos in extra-curricular activities and the successful candidate will be expected to play a role in this provision.
