Dixons Kings Academy recently moved in to a £10 million new building after opening in September 2011. Next year we will have our first Year 11 cohort and we fully expect results to be well above the national average.

The right candidate:

Applications are welcome for the position of Head of Faculty of Creative Arts and PE at Dixons Kings Academy for September 2015. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, qualified and enthusiastic design technology or art teacher to support the Senior Leadership Team in the leadership and management of the Creative Arts faculty.

  • You will be an outstanding teacher, ideally of DT or art, with a passion for creative subjects;
  • You will inspire and motivate students and staff to develop their full potential;
  • You are committed to developing the Academy as part of the wider community.

The Academy can offer:

The Academy will have students aged 11-16 with places for 800 students. We are currently looking to expand to offer Post 16 provision.
