Head of Geography

The Trustees of Fulwood Academy wish to appoint a Head of Geography.

You will join a team of staff who share the passion to develop students learning with strong subject knowledge, who are committed to providing the best learning opportunities possible for the students of Fulwood.

We seek to appoint a Head of Geography who has

•  A passion for teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
•  Strong subject knowledge and experience of raising attainment in languages
• Drive and enthusiasm to lead and take responsibility for Teaching and Learning in the curriculum area
• The skills and focus to make contributions to the wider Academy
•   Dedication to improving the opportunities for the pupils of Fulwood Academy by delivering innovative opportunities which go beyond the classroom curriculum

Salary: M1 – UPS3 per annum on the teacher’s pay scale + TLR 2B
